Our GOLD Package is enough to make any pond owner squeal with excitement as we offer a site visit every five days to maintain your personal paradise. How will you spend all the time you’re saving by letting us do the dirty work?

During each visit, we’ll check your pond and add the following products:

1. EcoSystems Aquacleaner Extreme – for water clarity
2. Ecosystems Ecoblast – to help fight debris
3. The Pond Boy Pond Cleaner – to kill the access of algae and for water clarity
4. EcoSystems S.A.B. Extreme – to help fight and prevent debris
5. EcoSystems EcoCarbon – removes odors and discoloration in the water
6. EcoSystems EcoBarley – helps fight and prevent debris

While visiting, we’ll also take care of all your general maintenance duties:

1. Check the PH, nitrate, nitrite and amonia levels of your water
2. Empty your skimmer basket/debris net
3. Clean the skimmer mat as needed
4. Check the underwater lights, replace the bulbs if necessary
5. Check your pump for proper flow
6. Check and adjust the automatic water fill level (if needed)
7. Trim and dead head aquatic plants
8. Fertilize the aquatic plants
9. Add rock and gravel as needed
10. Provide site report

While performing general maintenance, we’ll keep an eye out for any current issues with your pond and keep a lookout for any future problems that may sprout up. We’ll identify and fix the problem before it’s a problem.

During the spring, you can expect a visit in late March or April, where we

• removing and inspecting your fish as they are transferred into a holding tank with a specialized water treatment
• completely draining the water from the pond
• removing the filter mats to a holding tank to keep bacteria alive
• removing any dead leaves and stems
• dividing the iris and lilies, if necessary
• power washing and flushing the rocks and gravel, repositioning as required, taking extreme care of any plants remaining in the pond
• inspecting/cleaning all equipment, including filter mats and lighting
• installing the skimmer, pump and filter
• fixing any unsettled edges
• filling with fresh water
• adding 'EcoStarter Plus' to remove/detoxify/destroy the chlorine/amonia/chloramines in the water
• adding 'AquaClearer Extreme' cold water bacteria
• acclimating the fish and placing them back in the pond
• turning on the transformer

In November or early December, we’ll be out to do a fall closing on your pond, performing these tasks:

• removing any tropical plants
• cutting back marginal plants
• removing decaying leaves and debris
• removing the pump
• emptying the filter and skimmer
• disconnecting the check valve
• placing the filter mats at the bottom of the pond until spring
• installing a bubbler or heater
• turning off the transforme

If you have a lot of fall leaves/debris in your pond, we will also do a fall cleaning which helps to ensure that your fish will over winter successfully. A complete fall cleaning consists of the above steps as well as:

• removing and inspecting your fish as they are transferred into a holding tank with a specialized water treatment
• completely draining the water from the pond
• cleaning out of all debris on the bottom of the pond
• filling with fresh water
• adding 'EcoStarter Plus' to remove/detoxify/destroy the chlorine/amonia/chloramines in the water
• adding 'AquaClearer Extreme' cold water bacteria
• acclimating the fish and placing them back in the pond
